DRC Spherical Bearing Conversion Lower Rear Knuckle (GC, GD, SF, SG)

DRC has fabricated a Spherical Bearing Conversion for the Lower Rear Knuckle attachment point. This is where the trailing arm bolts to the rear knuckle on a GC, GD, SF or SG Subaru. Converting this a proper Spherical Bearing is a huge improvement in the handling of the McPherson Strut Style rear suspension on Subarus.

This is usually the last piece to upgraded due to it not being a commonly available in spherical. It is also a pain to remove the oem bushing, DRCs 2 piece design allows for a much easier install than conventional one piece bushing replacements.

The OEM rear knuckle is a cast iron piece so there is some sanding and smoothing needed of the casting to facilitate a smooth install of the DRC Spherical Bearing Conversion. Remove only material where needed to press the bearing sleeve in do not remove too much material.
